REFUND & CANCELLATION
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 24 May 2026
PlayShip sells a delivered professional service. The rules below describe when you can cancel and when a refund is due.
1. UK statutory cancellation right (digital services)
Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumer clients have a 14-day right to cancel a contract for digital services and receive a full refund, provided work has not yet started.
Because turnaround on this service is short, we ask you to expressly agree at intake that work may begin before the 14-day period expires. If you so agree and we begin work, the 14-day statutory right falls away and the work-stage refund tiers in section 2 apply instead. The statutory right does not apply to business-to-business engagements.
2. Cancellation by you (work-stage tiers)
- Before work starts: 100% refund, less any non-recoverable payment processor fees, if you cancel before we have begun work (typically within 24 hours of payment).
- After work has started but before submission: 50% refund. The remainder covers time already spent on audit, listing copy, asset preparation, and Play Console configuration.
- After the build has been submitted to Google Play: no refund, because the service has been performed.
3. Express tier guarantee
The Express tier carries a "live in 7 days or full refund" guarantee. If your app is not in at least the Internal Testing track within 7 calendar days of us receiving a working AAB, signing key, and Play Console access, you are entitled to a full refund on request.
The guarantee does not apply where the delay is caused by Google review times beyond our control, missing or invalid inputs from you, policy violations in the app itself that require code changes, or force majeure.
4. Cancellation by us
We may decline or stop work if the app violates Google Play policy, involves illegal content, infringes third-party rights, or if the client becomes uncontactable for more than 14 days. In that case we refund the portion of the fee for work not yet performed.
5. How to request a refund
Email avinashsreekumar007@gmail.com with your order reference and the reason for the request. Eligible refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval. Stripe and bank settlement times may add a few days.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a concern please contact us first. Initiating a chargeback without first allowing us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue may delay or void any refund.
