Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 May 2026
PlayShip is operated by PlayShip UK (sole trader, Avinash Sreekumar), based in Camberley, United Kingdom. This policy explains what personal data we collect from you, why we collect it, and how we handle it, in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. What we collect
- Intake form data: name, email, app name, current Play Console status, app description, and chosen tier.
- Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Delivery data: Play Console invitation email, AAB files, signing key references, and store listing assets that you share with us to complete the work.
- Analytics: aggregate, cookie-free page-view counts via GoatCounter. No personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking.
2. Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, deliver the submission service you paid for, issue receipts, and meet UK tax and accounting record-keeping obligations. The lawful bases we rely on under UK GDPR are performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).
3. Who we share it with
- Stripe — payment processing.
- FormSubmit — relays the intake form to our email.
- Google Play Console — the platform on which the service is performed, using access you grant.
- Tax authorities — if and where legally required.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.
4. How long we keep it
Intake and project correspondence: up to 24 months after delivery. Invoices and payment records: 6 years, as required under UK tax law (HMRC self-assessment record-keeping). Build artefacts (AABs, keys) are deleted within 30 days of project completion unless you ask us to retain them for ongoing support.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email avinashsreekumar007@gmail.com. Requests are honoured within one calendar month, subject to the retention obligations above. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
6. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Credentials and keys are stored in an encrypted password manager. Access is restricted to the sole trader.
7. Changes
Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
